I was listening to a live cast where Tommy Thomson interviewed Matthew Guzdial about his groundbreaking work in PCG and ML for automated game design. For the first time, I tried taking notes using acrylics – normally I use watercolour. I was in my studio, so I had all materials close at hand. But wow – it was complicated! Since it is new, I didn’t know straight away what tools to use. At one point I resorted to writing on facial tissues with a micron pen, and then sloshed it onto the paper with gel medium 🙂
