More trying of pen and paper combinations. The rothring ink works well with both pigment ink pens and alcohol markers. Smooth thick Bristol type drawing paper. Not sure if any paper would bear both watercolor and alcohol markers well. Perhaps expensive hotpressed cotton paper.
