I picked up some oil pastel crayons last week out of curiosity. After work this week I have been playing with the crayons, loosely following a tutorial I found on YouTube. The motive is a field of poppies. I only have 12 crayons so I learned mixing and blending. I have a rubber blending tool that I received as a gift 7 years ago from my beloved relative Ulla Maijja. This tool was perfect to use together with cold pressed lins seed oil and stiff hog brush. (As if in painting with oil!)
