Colored Pencils

Using colored pencils brings me to the same type of relaxation I felt when I was child, staying in and coloring on a rainy summer day.

Now as an adult I have splurged on colored pencils! This:

  • Polychromos from Faber Castell, several sets of the jubilee box. To be specific: all four of them. Oil based pencils
  • Amazon basics colored pencils, a box of 72 and a box of 48. Wax based pencils
  • A curated set of Caran d’Ache supracolor soft aquarell pencils: 8 colors diving the palette of Paul Smith, one of my favorite fashion brands.

Here follows some images. I have experimented with blending the wax and oil pencils with mineral spirits (the stuff used to clean brushes from oil paint). I am also pairing pens between sets, wanting to combine the paul smith watercolor pencils with the oil- and wax based ones.
